It’s been a bit since I’ve updated my blog, but the time in between the crazy fall season and the start of spring sessions is when I can focus and regroup for the next season, update my website, social media platforms and catch up on some blog posts. I am so excited to share Missy’s graduation portrait session! She graduated from Lock Haven University last spring with a degree in Education. She is just the sweetest young lady with a bubbly personality. I am positive that she is already the best, most loved Elementary School teacher! I am honored that you chose me to be your photographer for such an important milestone in your life, Missy! Thank you!
We had to change Missy’s session date due to inclement weather. We thankfully ended up with a sunshine-y morning, a little chilly to start, but it warmed up quickly. Missy brought her cap and gown and then changed her outfit to jeans with an alumni t-shirt as well as her sorority t-shirt. She also brought her favorite Dr. Seuss book (and one of mine too).
The Lock Haven campus was absolutely stunning with all the spring blossoms and blooms. We headed around campus to capture photos at some of the iconic places and moments that were special to her…
We ended her session with a celebratory champagne spray! What a fabulous way to wrap up her photos! I was so honored to share in this special time with you, Missy! Thank you again!
And to wrap up this post … A quote from Dr. Seuss’ “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”
“You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You’re on your own.
And you know what you know.
And YOU are the one who will decide where you’ll go …”
