Jane, Class of 2018 | Warrior Run High School

I’m so happy to introduce you to Jane! She is a beautiful and talented senior at Warrior Run High School.  I met Jane on a beautiful evening in early October. We met at a lake near her home, a beautiful and serene spot that she visits often. It really was the perfect evening, just dripping with that golden fall light with a hint of autumn crispness in the air.

Jane is a real and genuine soul. Her personality just shines and she was a pure joy to get to know and photograph during her two-hour session. And I have to say, it was an added bonus when she showed up with her family’s red truck to incorporate into the session!  I’m excited to share some of my favorite photos we captured!

When Jane isn’t at school, she stays quite busy. You can find her waitressing at the local deli, Lisa’s Milltown Deli, and she also volunteers for blood drives, can drives, food drives and works extracurricular concessions. I am always impressed and so proud of students that work hard, not only in their academics, but find time to give back to their local communities.

A well-rounded student, Jane is a member of both WRHS Soccer and Track teams. She also plays Club Soccer. She is a member of the National Honor Society, on the WRHS Student council, a member of the Spanish Club and also the Diversity Awareness Club.

Her hard work and perseverance have paid off for her in both her academics and the sports she is involved in. She has earned Distinguished Honor Roll and has been named as a Student of the Month. In Track, she took first place in the Lewisburg Spring Triathlon and is a District medalist and State Qualifier for Discus. In Soccer, she was named 1st-Team Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference All-Star for Girls’ Soccer.

Jane’s post-graduation plans include attending Slippery Rock University to study Pre-Physical Therapy. She will also compete as a member of the Women’s Track and Field Team.

Jane, you are truly an amazing young lady and I am so thankful you asked me to take your senior photos! I just loved getting to know you! I hope the remainder of your senior year is amazing! It’s so hard to believe the first half has already passed. Continue working hard. I know you are destined for great things!
